IEPs – How & When YOU Will be Informed of Progress

April 13, 2021 Frances 0 Comments

There are so many little parts to the IEP that some parts get overlooked or not even discussed. I have been to several meetings where the school just review the Present Levels and the Goals. Remember, this is YOUR child’s meeting. YOU are a member of the team and you have a right to give input and review every part of the IEP. Schools often gloss over the evaluation procedures and put informal methods or observations. This is not okay. You as the parent have a right to have actual data on progress. Watch my YouTube video below for more details. Also, if you have any questions about any part of the IEP or IEP process that you think would make a good video topic, please drop a comment below or on YouTube. I would love to make sure my videos are relevant to YOU!
